RCA - Caregiver Instructions

  • Open the RCA

  • Enter your agency ID, username, and password. Then click sign in.

  • If this is your first-time logging in or have requested a password reset, you may be prompted to enter a new password.

  • Once you’ve logged in you will be taken to the home screen. Click on the shift that you would like to clock in or out for.

  • Shift Details are outlined here including directions to the clients home, care plan tasks (also know as Activities of Daily Living or ADLs), and the clock in button.

  • Once you have clocked in you can begin your shift.

  • As needed you can enter task information, including comments by hitting the comment box on the right side of the screen.

  • Once all tasks have been entered click save. Some agencies require signatures for clients or caregivers, if this this the case you’ll see them on the signature screen.

  • Once signatures are complete hit the Save and Continue button.

  • The RCA will give you a confirmation message letting you know the tasks list has been signed and completed.

  • If you click the clock out button prior to the end of the shift the RCA will prompt to make sure you would like to clock out early.

  • Otherwise, you’ll receive a message confirming that you clocked out.

  • If at any point you want to review the shift you can always go back to it and see the information entered here.
