Shift Reminders

Shift Reminders are an automated system that many agencies elect to use to ensure caregiver timeliness. To review or adjust your shift reminder settings you can begin by going to the Configuration menu in the main Rosemark window. Under configuration select the Agency option.

 

In the agency window there is a section specific to shift reminders. Enabling or disabling shift reminders is as simple as checking or unchecking the box. If shift reminders are enabled you will need to decide what time these reminders should be sent and if they should include only shifts happening the next day or if you would like to include any shifts that occur later in the same day. For example, if shift reminders are sent at 6pm and a caregiver has a shift that starts at 7pm selecting the second option will include the reminder for the 7pm shift in addition to any shifts that are assigned for the following day. 

You can further adjust which caregivers do or do not receive shift notifications on their individual profiles. On the Communication tab within a caregiver's profile you can check or uncheck whether shift reminders are sent on an individual level. You can also send shift reminders outside of the automated process by clicking the Send Shift Reminder Now button.
