The Rosemark Caregiver App
The Rosemark Caregiver App (RCA) has a wide variety of settings and features to ensure it meets agency needs. In this section will can find app preferences, as well as resources that can be passed along to caregivers.

RCA Preferences
Some settings are managed by the office staff and can be found below.
Settings Managed by Office Staff
- Caregiver can enter Reimbursable Client Mileage
- Caregiver can enter Miscellaneous Expenses
- Change the GPS Notification Distance threshold for clock in and clock outs
Found under File > Configuration >Telephony/ Electronic Visit Verification
- Caregiver can report Travel Time
- Caregiver can report Travel Mileage
Found under File > Configuration > Caregiver Travel
- Release caregiver schedules through date - only allow caregivers to see what shifts they are scheduled to work up to a certain date.

Settings Managed by Rosemark Staff
- Allow Caregiver to accept/refuse shift offers.
- Make task entry mandatory before caregivers can clock out.
- Caregivers can report additional tasks outside of the client’s Care Plan
- Make the task list read only/ non-editable.
- Make Caregiver signature required on task checklist
- Make Client signature required on task checklist
- Make caregiver and/or client signatures on task checklist mandatory at clock out.
- Caregiver can select ‘No’ to a task being completed
- Caregiver can select ‘Refused’ to a task being completed
- Caregiver can leave a voice message on clock out
- Caregivers can leave a written general note for the agency at clock out
- Caregiver can see the client ID number

- Open the RCA
- Enter your agency ID, username, and password. Then click sign in.
- If this is your first-time logging in or have requested a password reset, you may be prompted to enter a new password.
- Once you’ve logged in you will be taken to the home screen. Click on the shift that you would like to clock in or out for.
- Shift Details are outlined here including directions to the clients home, care plan tasks (also know as Activities of Daily Living or ADLs), and the clock in button.
- Once you have clocked in you can begin your shift.
- As needed you can enter task information, including comments by hitting the comment box on the right side of the screen.
- Once all tasks have been entered click save. Some agencies require signatures for clients or caregivers, if this this the case you’ll see them on the signature screen.
- Once signatures are complete hit the Save and Continue button.
- The RCA will give you a confirmation message letting you know the tasks list has been signed and completed.
- If you click the clock out button prior to the end of the shift the RCA will prompt to make sure you would like to clock out early.
- Otherwise, you’ll receive a message confirming that you clocked out.
- If at any point you want to review the shift you can always go back to it and see the information entered here.
Troubleshooting
The most common issue caregivers have using the RCA is ensuring the app has the correct permissions to capture their GPS coordinates. To review these settings you can use the below guide based on the type of phone the caregiver is using.
Location Services for Android phones:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to Apps.
3. Select -See All Apps.
4. Go to the Caregiver Mobile App.
5. Go to Permissions.
6. Go to Location.
7. Select "Allow only while using the app"
8. turn on "Use Precise Location". The Caregiver Mobile App only uses these settings at the time of clock-in and clock-out to verify location.
Location Services for iPhones:
1. Go to Settings > Privacy >
2. Select Location Services.
3. Make sure Location Services is on.
4. Scroll down to find and select Caregiver Mobile (with the Rosemark icon).
5. Under " Allow Location Access", select "While Using the App"
6. Enable "Precise Location". The Caregiver Mobile App only uses these settings at the time of clock-in and clock-out to verify location.
