Client (Family) Portal

Discover the benefits of utilizing a client portal for improved communication and organization within your family.

Family Portal Access 

You can give your Clients and their families access to the Family Portal, where they can view schedules, check notes, and see assigned Caregivers.

To enable access, just assign a username and password on the Client's Info tab.

If needed, you can revoke access at any time by unchecking the "Online" checkbox. If they forget their password, you can easily reset it for them.

Family Portal Settings

The Family Portal has a number of settings that can be customized to your agency needs. If you are interested in enabling or disabling any of the following settings please reach out to the Customer Success team.

  • Display the shift Task list
  • Display task comments
  • Display EVV events
 
 

 

Username 

Usernames are filled in, by default, when you first enter the Client's name, by taking the first initial and last name (e.g. Jane Smith would be jsmith). 

  • Username must be unique among all persons in your database. When creating the default username, Rosemark will check that and change the name by adding a number after it, if necessary.
  • You can change the username to be whatever you (or the Client) would like, as long as it is unique.
  • If you attempt to put in a username that is not unique, the system will warn you, telling you which person is already using that username. 

Password

  • During initial setup you can use any temporary password you'd like to give a client or their family access.
  • The user (client, family member, etc.) will use the temporary password to sign in the first time. Once they log in they will be prompted to enter a new password of their choosing.
  • Passwords in Rosemark must be at least 8 characters or more.
  • If a Client ever loses their password, you can reset the password by typing a new one in on the Info tab and saving it. You can reuse the same temporary password as many times as you'd like but the client or family must use a different password.

Use Strong Passwords!

A strong password is 8 or more characters with a mixture of numbers, upper and lowercase letters and symbols. 

 

 

Accessing the Schedule on the Family Portal 

Provide them with a direct link:

  1.  Edit the following link, replacing XXXX with your agency's account number:

https://www.shoshana.com/RMXXXX/app 

  1. For example, if your account number was 0001, this is what your link would be:

https://www.shoshana.com/RM0001/app 

Copy and paste the link into an e-mail and send it to the Client.
